Sarah Jessica Parker was born on March 25, 1965 in Nelsonvill, Ohio. Her parents Stephen and Barbara divorced early, so Sarah Jessica Parker grew up with her mother and stepfather Paul Forste along with her seven siblings. Their family moved to New York, where she attended School for Creative and Performing Arts, Professional Children’s School, School of American Ballet and Dwight Morrow High School.

At an early age, Sarah Jessica Parker has been training ballet and singing, which led to an appearance in the 1977 Broadway musical, “Annie”. In 1982, she landed a role in the CBS television sitcom, “Square Pegs”, which only lasted one season. However, the performance of Sarah was critically well received that she landed in four films in the next 3 years, including “Footloose”, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and “Firstborn”.

By the early 90s, Sarah Jessica Parker appeared in a supporting role in the movie, “L.A. Story”, which gave her performance positive recognition. She starred in the film, “Honeymoon in Vegas” costarring Nicolas Cage and featured in the 1993 movie, “Hocus Pocus”, but failed to receive financial and critical success. However, she immediately made a comeback and portrayed Martha Steward in the movie, “Thirtysomething”, which won national TV acclaim.

Sarah Jessica Parker appeared opposite Johnny Depp in the critically acclaimed film, “Ed Wood” and later played in the 1995 movie, “Miami Rhapsody” and Tim Burton’s “Mars Attacks!”. Other films credits of Sarah Jessica Parker include “The First Wives Club”, “The Substance of Fire” and “Til There Way You”.
